Symptom
There is a dial tone, but the call is
not going through.
The dial tone level is too loud
when adding a POTS call to an
existing video call.
Problem
Troubleshooting Your Phone
Corrective Action
Do one of the following:
Ensure that the Polycom HDX or
Polycom RealPresence Group system
has an active voice interface installed
and it is listed as the first interface.
Ensure that the Polycom HDX or
Polycom RealPresence Group
system's active voice interface is
connected to an active network.
Verify the call type:
Press
, and then select
Settings > Advanced > Admin
Settings > Voice Call Type.
When prompted for the administrative
password, enter 456.
The Voice Call Type menu appears.
Verify that the call type is set to Auto.
Press the Select soft key if you
change the selection.
Do the following:
Open the video-configuration.cfg

configuration file in an XML editor.
Locate the

pnet.remoteCall.localDialTone
and
pnet.remoteCall.allProgAtten
parameters.
If pnet.remoteCall.localDialTone
3.
is not 0, lower the value of
pnet.remoteCall.allProgAtten.
The default value is -15 and the range
is -60 to 0.
Save your changes.
