Connecting to a
PBX/switchboard
When connecting your Synergy 1400 to a
switchboard/PBX, you may need to change the
dialling mode setting from Timed Break Recall
( ) to Earth Recall ( ).

Recall and Earth Recall
The original setting is Timed Break

Recall.

Press the button several times until
the display shows SET-UP.
Press the button. Display shows
HANDSET.
Press the button. Display shows
BASE.
Press the button. Display shows
SECURITY PIN.
Press the button until the display
shows RECALL.
Press the button. Display shows the
current setting TB (or E).
Press the button to display the
alternative option. Display shows E (or TB).
Press the button. You hear a
confirmation beep. Display shows
RECALL.

Press the button to reverse one step of the
instructions. Or press and hold to revert quickly
to standby.
