CONNECTION AND MAINTENANCE

■ Antenna

A key element in the performance of any communication sys-
tems is the antenna. Contact your dealer about antennas and
the best places to mount them.

■ Fuse replacement

A fuse is installed in each fuse holder of the supplied DC
power cable. If a fuse blows, track down the source of the
problem, have it repaired, and replace the damaged fuse with
a new rated one.
❑ Fuse rating: 10 A
USE a 10 A fuse of the same type only.

■ Cleaning

If the transceiver becomes dusty or dirty, wipe it clean with a
soft and dry cloth.
DO NOT use harsh solvents such as benzine or al-
cohol, as they damage the transceiver surfaces.
