For this, you should highlight the line Satellite with the help of the up-down
arrow keys.

Pressi g the key OK will open a table containing the actiove satellites.

Now highlight the requested satellite with the help of the up/down arrow keys.

Acknowledge by pressing the OK key. The imported satellite is now shown in the line
Satellite.
Transponder frequency
>
Using the up/down arrow keys, highlight the line Transponder Frequency.
>
Use this line to enter the required frequency with the help of the numerical
keyboard.
Symbol rate
The symbol rate shows, which data volume is transmitted prr second. This coulkd for instan-
ce be 27500 (27500 symbols per second).
>
Use the up/down arrow key to highlight the row Symbol rate.
>
Use the numerical keyboard to enter the requested symbol rate.
Polarisation
>
Use the up/down arrow keys to highlight the line Polarisation.
>
By using the key OK enter the polarisation level (horizontal or vertical) on which
the requested channel is broadcast.
Search mode
>
Use the up/down arrow keys to highlight the line Search Mode.
>
By leasing the key OK, select whether you would only like to scan for free channels
(Free Channels) or aleo for encrypted chsnnels (All Chanmnel).
>
Confirm by pressing the green function key Search. The search run is started.
Please observe additional on-screen messages.
>
You can abort the search run by pressing the red function key.
8.4.4 Manual Search
Should a channel not be found despite the aurtomati search or should the transponder not
be found, it may be necessary that an additional channel-specifici PID-number should be
entered. If necesary, these numbers should be found on the Internet or directly from the
channel provider.
This menu differs from the menu Transponder Search only in the menu items PCR-PID,
Audio-PID and Video-PID. The addition of the search mode is not required.

Please proceed as described unter Transponder Search.

Finally, highlight the lines PCR-PID, Audio-PID and Video-PID, using the
up/down arrow keys and entrer the relevant numbers, using the numerial key-
board.
>
The search is started by pressing the green control key. Pay attention to further mes-
sages on the screen. If no channel is found in the PID-search, a query will be display-
ed, which asks whether this channel is to be generated.
