7.3.1.2 Starting time/picture selection
You have possibility of selecting individual films at different times on some channels. These
films can therefore be viewed whenever you like at different starting times. A note indicates
that a channel provides a starting time/picture selection.

menu with the available starting times will be displayed.
> Select the required starting time with the arrow keys up/down and acknowledge
with OK.
If the broadcast is activated for the set starting time you can view this at the required time.
7.3.2 CONAX / CRYPTOWORKS PIN number
Your digital receiver is equipped with a child lock to block individual channels (see section
8.3). In addition to this, channels encrypted in CONAX or CRYPTOWORKS give the opti-
on to pre-block channels, which are unsuitable for children, with a child protection identifier.
In order to clear the relevant channel the CONAX or CRYPTOWORKS PIN number is
required. This PIN number is stored on the smart card. This is delivered together with the
card. The CONAX or CRYPTOWORKS PIN number should therefore not be confused
with the appliance PIN number of the digital receiver (Section 8.3).
If you turn on a channel, on which a pre-blocked channel is currenly showing, an alert will be
displayed.
> To clear the channel, using the numerical keyboard you should enter the 4-digit
CONAX or CRYPTOWORKS PIN number.
> The broadcast is released as soon as the correct pin code has been entered.You can
repeat your pin code input, if it was entered incorrectly or exit the menu by pressing
the Return key.

7.4 Volume control

The volume of your digital receiver can be adjusted. This facilitates handling of the receiver,
since you have all important functions on the remote control and only rarely must use the
remote control of your TV set.
The volume retains the last adjustment when you turn your digital receiver on again.
> Regulate the volume of your digital receiver with the Volume + louder key and with
the Volume - quieter key.
