6.4 External settings

After you have set your digital receiver to your individual preferences, you must, if required,
synchronise your digital receiver with your antenna. In the menu Antenna Settings you
can find the satellites, which have been set by the installation assistant. If the installation
assistant was aborted prematurely, the satellite positions are pre-programmed for ASTRA
and EUTELSAT.
Should you wish to receive different satellites or should you wish to use a different LNB, you
should set your digital receiver to the required data as follows:
>
Call the Main menu with the Menu key.
>
Select the Settings with the arrow keys up/down.
>
Acknowledge by pressing the OK key. The Basic Settings menu is displayed.
>
Now select the line Antenna settings with the arrow keys up/down.
>
Confirm with OK. The Basic settings menu is displayed.
The following settings can be made in this sub-menu :
6.4.1 Multiytenne
If the receiver is operated via a Multytenne-LNB, you can use this menu item to adjust the
switch positions to the Multytenne-LNB automatically.
>
With the help of the OK key, select on off in order to adjust the switch positions auto-
matically

6.4.2 DiSEqC switch on/switch off

DiSEqC (Digital Satellite Equipment Control) is a digital control signal to control DiSEqC-
compatibke components via the areal cable. If your external unit has DiSEqC-components,
you mustactivate the DiSEqC-control:
>
Activate or deactivate DiSEqC with tbe help of the OK key. As only one LNB
can be controlled if the DiSEqC-control is deactivated, the menu is restricted to the
configuration of one LNB.

6.4.3 Switch on circuit matrix

The menu lists the four switch criteria of the DiSEqC controller. Your appliance has been pre-
programmed in such a way that ASTRA is received on switch position A/A and Eutelsat is
received on the position B/A of a multiswitch. Should the array of your receiver be structured
differently or should it receive different stellites, you can adjust your digital receiver as fol-
lows.
>
With the help of the arrow keys select the DiSEqC-switch position (1-4), to which
you would likle to allocate a satellite (e.g. A/B 3 no satellite), by highlighting this
line.
>
Press the OK key. A menu containing various satellites will be displayed.
>
Select the required language with the arrow keys up/down. With the arrow
keys up/down move the cursor one line at a time up or down, the arrow keys
left/right are used to switch to the following or previous page.
Should the required satellite not be available on the list, select a spare space, desi-
gnated as User 1 to User 13.
