Description
To specify the network domain name. The network domain
name is the TCP/IP address of the domain server where the
Océ 9600 controller is connected to.
To specify the DNS server. Use semicolons ( ; ) to separate
entries.
To specify whether or not the TCP/IP adapter is enabled or
disabled, in order to allow TCP/IP communication.
To enable or disable the DHCP protocol, this allows network
administrators to manage and automate the assignment of
Internet Protocol. In order to make DHCP recognize your
system, a fixed IP address has to be configured.
To specify the IP address for the server. A single adapter card
can have more than one adapter on it, so it is possible to
specify several IP addresses.
To specify the IP subnet mask for the server. The subnet
mask is a number that, when compared by the computer with
a network address number, will block out all but the neces-
sary information.
To specify the default gateway IP address. A gateway con-
nects networks using different protocols so that information
can be passed from one to the other. A gateway both trans-
fers information and converts it to a form compatible with
the protocols used by the receiving network.
Type the IP address for the primary WINS server. This uses
Windows Internet Name Service (WINS) protocol in combi-
nation with name query broadcasts to resolve computer
names to IP addresses.
Type the IP address for the secondary WINS server. This
uses Windows Internet Name Service (WINS) protocol in
combination with name query broadcasts to resolve comput-
er names to IP addresses.
Description
To specify whether or not the SPX adapter is enabled or dis-
abled.
