2. a. When you have selected the template with the size and style buttonhole
you need, slide the template into the guide plate.
b. Pull catch toward you while sliding the template until the buttonhole size
you have chosen is at the setting mark.
c. Insert gear of base plate into slot of ternplaIe and fit guide block into the
center of the guide slot.

3. a. Attach the buttonhole foot.

b. Adjust position at gear so it is aligned with the starting point of template.
The lever can be used to change gear position.
c. Pull the bobbin thread up through guide slot by turning the hand wheel toward
you while holding top thread.
d. Place the bobbin and top threads to the left side o! guide plate.
Leave 3 to 4 inches of thread.
2, a. AprOs avoir chotsi le gabaritpour la longueur et Ie genre de boutonniare,
engagez-le dans le porte-gabarit.
b. Tirez Ie diquet vers vous pour faire gtisser Ie gabarit )usqu'& ]'encoche
correspondant h la iongueur vouhte.
c. Centrez Iafente du gabarit sur le ptgnon etfaites passer le dotgt de gutdage
dans la fente de guldage.
3. a. lnstallez le pied &boutonnikres.
b, Alignez le pignon avec la ligne de dgpart gravde sur Ie gabamt.
Tirezsur ]e levter pour metlre le gabarit en position.
c. Remontez le fil de dessous gttravers lafente en tournant le volant vers votts et en
retenant te fil de dessus,
d. Tirez les fils de dessous et de dessus vers ia gauche du porte-gabarit,
Les fits doivent ddpasser de 3 dl4 po.
