Before Making Copies

Sleep Mode

In order to conserve energy, the copier's heater goes off and the copier

automatically enters Sleep mode if no operation is performed for a

specified length of time.

Conditions for entering Sleep mode

No copier operation is performed for 1 minute.

To recover from Sleep mode, press any key in the control panel or

touch the touch panel.

The settings specifying whether or not and the time until the copier

enters Sleep mode can be changed. For details, refer to "Changing

Default Settings" on page 7-6.
