Printing on transparencies with opaque white ink or transfer film
The following paragraphs describe how to print full
colour graphic images and text on transparencies.
After graphic images and text are printed in full-colour
on transparency film or transfer film, an opaque white
layer is printed on the back of the image. This means
that the image print-out is unaffected by the colour of
the background material.

Requirements

For printing on transparencies or transfer film, you will
need the following.
1. Media
a DP-7000 Transfer film and Transparency
Film

2. Ink cartridges
The following ink cartridges can be used.
a Process Cyan ink cartridge
b Process Magenta ink cartridge
c Process Yellow ink cartridge

Caution:
When printing on transparencies, use only OKI DP-7000
transparency film. Using other transparency films may
cause damage to the printer.

Prepare the image to be printed

Create the text and graphics to be printed in your
application. Take care to lay them out within the
printing area of the transparency film or transfer film.

Install ink cartridges

Install the ink cartridges listed above into the ink cartridge
holders. The ink cartridges may be installed in any order.
