5. Set the printer to the cleaning mode.
Press the ready/insert button to move the carriage
to the left.
WARNING:
Do not put your hands inside the printer when printer
parts are moving.

6. Press the plate (1) to wipe the 5 paper transport
rollers (2) with a moist cotton swab, using a left
right motion along the gutter (3).

7. Press and release the ready/insert button to
partially rotate the feed rollers. Continue cleaning
in this way until the feed rollers are completely
clean.
Caution:
Never press the ready/insert button when putting a cotton
swab or your hand inside the printer. Doing so may result
in an injury and malfunction as the cotton swab or your
hand may be pulled inside the sheet feeder.
8. Close the front cover.
