To check programmes

Press [PROG/CHECK].
The Timer Programme List screen appears.
Icon explanations
W The programme contents are repeated in another programme.
¥
This programme is currently recording.
F The disc was full or the maximum number of programmes or scenes was reached so
the programme failed to record.
The television programme was copy-guarded so the programme failed to record.
X The programme failed to record for some other reason.
ªTo change the programme

ªTo exit from the Timer Programme List screen
Press [PROG/CHECK] or [RETURN]. (The programme the television is tuned to is shown.)
For your reference
≥Programmes that failed to record are displayed grey. These programmes are deleted from the
list at 4 a.m. the day after tomorrow.

Starting and canceling programmes

ªTo put the unit on recording standby
Press [Á, TIMER REC].
The unit turns off and "Á" lights on the unit's display.
Note
≥The unit cannot go to timer recording standby if the disc is protected or full ("Á" flashes). Check
the disc carefully.
ªTo release the unit from recording standby
If you want to record something else before the programme start time, for example:
Press [Á, TIMER REC].
The unit turns on and "Á" goes out.
≥Be sure to press [Á, TIMER REC] before the programme start time to put the unit on recording
standby. The programme only works if "Á" is on.
ªTo stop recording while a programme is working
Press [Á, TIMER REC].
