heavy objects must never be carried on
the lap of passengers; risk of fa tal injury.
The system for deactivating the front
passenger seat's airba g systems is
indica ted b y a sticker on the side of the
instrument panel, visible when passenger
door is open.

While using a child restraint sy stem on
the front passeng er seat, the airbag
sy stems for the front p assenger seat must
be deactiv ated; if not, the triggering of
the front or side airbag poses the risk of
fatal injury to the child.
This is especially the case if ba ckwards-
facing child restraint systems are used on
the front passeng er seat.
