Vehicle features
Heated rear window, Window demisting and defrosting:
Set air distribution to l, turn rotary knob
heated exterior mirrors 3:
On = Press Ü , for temperature and airflow clockwise.
Off = Press Ü again. Air conditioning system 3:
LED in pushbutton. Press buttons n and V;
Automatic air conditioning system 3:
Heating operational with ignition on.
Also turn rotary knob for temperature
Heating switches off automatically after
clockwise and airflow to A;
approx. 15 minutes.
Electronic Climate Control 3: press V.
Automatic transmission 3: Manual mode (ActiveSelect) 3:
P = Park position (with vehicle + = Shift to a higher gear
stationary, first apply handbrake) - = Shift to a lower gear
R = Reverse (with vehicle stationary) Shift lever from D first to the left, then
N = Neutral (idling) forwards or backwards to change gears.
D = Automatic gear selection
Starting-off aid: Press T button;
Start in P or N. To leave P, switch on
indicator T illuminates in transmission
ignition, depress footbrake and press display, vehicle starts-off in 4th gear.

Manual transmission:
Reverse gear: with vehicle stationary,
pull the ring up three seconds after
depressing clutch pedal and engage
gear.
If gear does not engage, set lever to
neutral, release clutch and depress
again; then repeat gear selection.
Easytronic 3:
N = Neutral (idling)
o o o o = Drive position
+ = Higher gear
- = Lower gear
A = Automatic/Manual mode selector
R = Reverse (with selector lever lock)
Depress footbrake before starting.
Move selector lever in appropriate
direction as far as it will go. Lever returns
to original position when released.
