Keys, doors, bonnet
To act ivat e
All doors must b e fully closed; press the e
button on the rem ote control, the turn
signa l ind icators flash twice. If the turn
signa l indicators do not fla sh on activation,
this may indicate that a door or the bonnet
is not fully closed.
To deacti vate
Press the c b utton on the remote control,
the turn signal indicators flash once.
If the alarm has been triggered, the turn
signa l ind icators will not flash upon
deactivation.
When unloc king the vehicle using the k ey,
the a larm will sound; to deactivate, insert
the k ey and switch on the ignition.
Note
The Vauxhall alarm sy stem cannot be
deactivated in any other way so keep a
spare key in a safe p la ce.
Alar m
During a switch-on p hase the sensors ca n
trigger a max imum of 10 tim es
The a la rm takes the form of:
z an acoustic signal (horn, 25 seconds)
and

z a visua l signal
(turn signal indicators,
25 seconds).

Pa ssenger comp artment m onitoring
When the Vauxhall alarm is activ ated, the
sy stem automatically monitors the inside
of the vehic le for movement.
To disab le the passeng er compa rtm ent
monitoring, (for ex ample if an anima l is left
in the vehic le):
z Press and hold the e button on the
rem ote control.
z An audible beep will sound to confirm
that the passenger compartm ent
monitoring function is disab led.
The disable monitoring function will remain
until the alarm is deactivated or the doors
unlocked.
Alarm back -up system 3
The alarm system has a battery bac k-up
siren unit which, in the ev ent of its power
supply being d isconnected or
disconnection of the vehicle battery , will
sound for approx. 5 minutes on its internal
batteries.

If the v ehicle b attery has to be
disconnected it will b e necessa ry to
deactiv ate the alarm system .
To stop the siren if activated , reconnect the
vehicle b attery and press the rear c button
on remote control unit.

O pen the door by pulling the outside
handle, or by pulling the interior lev er to
the rear, then sliding the door rearwa rd s.
To close the door, slide it fully forwards and
ensure it is fully c losed .
The door can be locked or unlocked with
the remote control 3 , the central locking
switch 3 or b y the interior lock sw itc h.
Ensure the sid e door is closed before
driving the vehicle.
