The effectiveness of the b ra kes is an
important fa ctor for traffic safety .
In the interest of effectiveness, do not
brake unnecessarily hard during the first
120 miles (200 km ) after new disc brake
pads have been fitted.
Brakes
Wea r of the brake linings must not exceed
a certain limit. R egular maintena nce as
detailed in the Service Booklet is therefore
of the utmost importance for traffic safety .
Hav e w orn b ra ke p ads replaced. We
recommend that y ou consult y our Vauxhall
Authorised Repairer, who will fit parts that
have been tested and a pproved by
Vauxhall and guarantee optim um braking
power.
