The battery must be d isconnected from the
vehic le before being charged : first
disconnect the negativ e cable and then the
positiv e ca ble. The polarity of the battery ,
i.e. the connections for the positive and
nega tiv e ca bles, must not be
interchanged . When rec onnecting, first
connect the positive cable and then the
nega tiv e ca ble.
To avoid damaging the vehicle, do not
mak e any modifications to the electrical
system, e.g . connecting add itional
consumers or tampering with elec tronic
control units (chip tuning).

Warning
Electronic ignition systems generate very
high voltages. Do not touch the ignition
system; hig h voltage can be fatal.

Disconnect the battery from the v ehicle
electrica l sy stem before charging: First
detach the negative and then the positive
lead. Do not reverse the p ola rity of the
battery, i.e. do not confuse the termina ls
for the positive and negative lead s. When
connecting, start with the positive lead and
then connect the negative lead .
