• Carefully remove the packaging and padding, taking
care not to damage any parts of the unit.
• Unfasten the transport securing devices (brackets)
with which the heat pump is fixed to the pallet.
The brackets are no longer required.

Transporting the heat pump

We recommend that the heat pump be transported with
the aid of a suitable barrow. The handles on the rear
side of the unit are provided as transportation aids (see
Fig. 2.5, Item. 4).

Risk of injury!
Depending on type, the heat pump
weighs 140 - 195 kg in the unfilled state.
To avoid injury, use several people to lift
it.

Caution!
Risk of damage!
Regardless of the mode of transport, the
heat pump must never be tilted by more
than 45°. Otherwise it can cause mal-
functions in the coolant circuit during
later operation, which in the worst case
can lead to a failure of the whole sy-
stem.
