Comments
Test both forward and reverse operation to ensure gear ranges
engage promptly (1 – 2 seconds) when shifting from N to D or R
when warmed up.
Delayed or "mushy" engagement may indicate internal transmission
pressure or clutch problems.
Tight spots or sticking in lock-to-lock steering wheel rotation can
indicate damaged rack.
Hands-off steering pull can be affected by alignment, tire
condition or type.
Check both front and rear wipers, and check for correct
"park" position.
Example: 4Runner rear window will not open if wiper does not
return to park position due to incorrect arm position on shaft.
Adjust as necessary.
Consider replacing with Toyota genuine wiper inserts.
Check each trip odometer.
Test all modes and functions.
