The test connectors connect the oscilloscope to the test equipment.

Jumper wire
The test connectors make it easy to hook the oscilloscope probes to
function generators and measurement equipment with minimum
electrical distortion. These connectors are used in the threshold
and time interval tests.
The dummy load is used to troubleshoot the power supply. Refer to
"To construct your own dummy load" later in this chapter.
