2-26. Performing formatting of the media

When re-formattng the meda, be sure to perform t wth IP-410 or IP-400. The meda that s formatted
wth the personal computer cannot be read wth IP-410 and the CP-20.

1 Display the media format screen.
When swtch s held pressed for three seconds, MEDIA
FORMAT button
ths button s pressed, the meda format screen s dsplayed.
2 start formatting of the media.
Set the meda you desre to format to the meda slot, close the
cover, press ENTER button
Save necessary data n the meda to the other meda before
formattng. When formattng s performed, the nsde data are
deleted.
