This element contains the version of the enhanced feature key elements. The
version element has the following format:
<version efk.version="2"/>
If this parameter is omitted or has an invalid value (including Null), the
enhanced feature key is disabled.
Note
In SIP 3.0, "1" is the only supported version. In SIP 3.1, "2" is the only supported
version.
Special Characters
The following special characters are used to implement the enhanced feature
key functionality:
! — The characters following it are a macro name.
$ — This character delimits the parts of the macro string. This character
must exist in pairs, where the delimits the characters to be expanded.
^ — This character indicates that the following characters represent the
expanded macro (as in the action string).
Interpretation
This parameter specifies the user input feedback
method. It has the following values:
If set to "visible", the text appears as clear text.
If set to "masked", the text appears as "*"
characters. For example, if a password is entered.
If this parameter is omitted, the value "visible" is used.
If this parameter has an invalid value (including Null),
this prompt is invalid and all parameters depending on
this prompt are invalid.
The type of characters entered by the user. This
parameter has the following values:
If set to "numeric ", the characters are interpreted as
numbers.
If set to "text", the characters are interpreted as
letters.
If this parameter is omitted, the value "numeric" is used.
If this parameter has an invalid value (including Null),
this prompt is invalid and all parameters depending on
this prompt are invalid.
Note: A mix of numeric and text is not supported.
