Simulcast recording allows you to record a program
which
is being
transmitted
simultaneously
by
television radio broadcast stations.
1. Connect
VCR
and
Antennas.
Refer
to
"ANTENNA/VCR CONNECTIONS"
and "VCR/TV
CONNECTIONS"
on page 6 and 7.
If you have a Monitor TV, connect the video cable
to "VIDEO OUT" of your VCR and connect the
other end to "VIDEO IN" of your TV.
2. Connect one audio cable to "AUDIO OUT" (L),
(R) on the VCR. Connect the other end to "LINE
IN" (L), (R) on your stereo system.
3. Connect
another audio cable (not supplied)
to
"AUDIO IN" (L), (R) of your VCR. Connect the
other
end to "REC OUT" (L), (R) of your stereo
system.
4. Turn the FM Tuner of the stereo system to the
FM station
which is broadcasting
the simul-
taneous stereo sound.
5. Turn on rv and tune it to the VCR channel (3 or
4).
6. Insert a cassette.
7. Set the Input Select button to "SC" position.
The" [_"
indicator will appear on the Display.
8. Press "CHANNEL" Select button ( •
or • ) on
the remote control to select the channel to be
recorded.
9. Put the VCR in the "RECORD" mode.
The " _EE" indication will appear on the Display.
You are now recording the program you see on
your TV screen and also recording the simulcast
stereo audio to which you are listening.
