Use these Channel Mapping
instructions only if
you have your VCR connected
as shown
in
connection B on page 36.
TO MAP CHANNELS

Make sure the TV system (TV or CA'I-V) is set
correctly to CATV.

Press the VCR Plus+ button twice on the remote
control.
NOTE:
If the VCR PLUS PROGRAM
menu
appears when you press the VCR Plus+ button,
press VCR Plus+ again to return to the main
menu.
First press

VCR Plus+

will appear.

Press 2 for the CABLE BOX CHANNEL
Map-
ping.
This screen only appears for cable-TV systems.
It will not appear if you set the TV/CATV function
to TV position when you autoprogrammed
the
VCR.

channel of cable box (usually 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6).

When you are finished press VCR Plus+ button.
You can now use VCR Plus+ to record
as
described on page 42.
IMPORTANT: Because your cable company requires
a cable box, remember to turn on the cable box and
tune it to channel you want to record before the time
you have programmed a recording to occur.

Press 3 to begin Channel Mapping process. The
following will appear on the TV screen.
