LOCATING
THE DESIRED
PROGRAM
-VISS SEARCH
You can locate the desired program and play it back
automatically by designating the number of its VISS
signal. Up to the 99th VISS signal from the present
position on the tape can be located.
1. Press the VISS button once during playback.
2. Press
the numbered
buttons
(0N9)
which
corresponds to the number of VISS codes to be
passed on the way to the VISS destination from
the present tape location (up to 99 codes can be
detected on an individual tape).
3. Press either the FF or REW button briefly. The
"V.SEARCH 00" appears on the display.
When the desired VISS signal recorded section is
found, playback begins automatically.

ERASING VISS SIGNALS
You can erase unnecessary VISS signals.
1. Press the VISS button once during playback.
2. Press the ERASE button.
The "V.ERASE" appears on the display.
3. Press either the FF or REW button.
The first subsequent VISS signal is erased and
the tape is played back.
While a VISS signal is being erased, the recorded
sound will not be heard, but it is not erased.
