VCR/TV MODE SELECT SWITCH
Set to '"VCR" position to operate the VCR.
Set to "'IV" position to operate the "IV.
For example,
when this switch is set to "VCR"
position and you press the POWER button, you can
turn the VCR power on and off.
When this switch is set to "TV" position and you
press the POWER
button, you can turn the TV
power on and off.
TV PRESET BUTTON
To program the remote control to operate a "I-V,set
the VCR/I-V mode select switch to the "-IV" position.
Press the TV PRESET
button and hold it down.
While holding down the -rv PRESET button, press
one of the NUMBER buttons (1 thru 6) depending
upon the maker of "IV as shown below. Then release
both buttons.
Number button
1: Sanyo TV
2: Goldstar TV
3: Sony TV
4: Magnavox TV
5: RCA TV
6: Zenith TV
NOTES:
e'I'V/VCR
common keys: 0 ~ 9, channel up/down,
power on/off, 100,
• necessary to select "IV or VCR mode with
VCR/TV selector.
• Keys only for TV: mute, volume up/down.
• not necessary to select the mode.
• For RCA TV's only, use the 100 button for power
off.
The remote control
operates
most of the name
brand TV's above.
But if the TV manufacturers
change their TV code system and or control carrier
frequencies,
the unified
remote
control
may not
work.

Changes tape speed in the recording mode.
