Mounting the DHD
Controllers and
3Dimension Processor
The DHD Controller units and 3Dimension Processor can be placed on any flat, stable
surface such as a shelf or table, or they can be rack-mounted using the supplied
mounting hardware. Place these components in a location that provides easy access to
the power connectors.
The DHD Controller units and 3Dimension Processor
each require 2U (3.5 inches) or more of vertical rack
space (at least 10.5 inches total). To minimize cable
clutter, Runco recommends that you install the
3Dimension Processor between the Primary and
Secondary DHD Controllers in the rack.
To mount the DHD Controllers and 3Dimension Processor in a standard, 19-inch
equipment rack, install the mounting ears on either side of the chassis using the supplied
screws; see Figure 3-9. Then, secure the mounting ears to the rack.
