Dolby Pro Logic 11 playback is not possible in the
digital input function (DVD, TV/DBS or V.AUX) "DTS"
input mode.
Select the AUTO DECODE Surround mode.

mode.

sources are played in 2-channel stereo.

encoded in Dolby Surround)

When performing this operation from the main unit,
press the SURROUND MODE button then turn the
FUNCTION/SELECT dial to choose the surround
mode.
Play a 2-channel source.
• The AUTO ST indicator lights.

The mode can be changed during playback to the
Dolby Pro Logic H mode with the surround
parameters.
NOTES:
• When Dolby Surround encoded signals are detected in
Dolby Digital 2-channel sources, the source is played in
the Dolby Pro Logic 11according to the Dolby Pro Logic 11
mode setting. If the signals are not encoded the source
is played in the auto stereo mode.
• DTS 2-channel sources are played in two channels in the
DTS mode, not in the auto stereo mode,
