Configuring Event Actions

Select Event Action from the UPS menu, or click the
the Record Setting window. The Event Action window opens (see Figure 46).

You can select which actions should be performed when specific events occur:
Record – Select the events to be recorded in the Event Log and select the Record check box. All events
can be recorded in the Event Log.
PC Beep – Select the events to initiate an audible beep on your computer and select the PC Beep
check box. Only these events can be configured: Communication Lost, On Bypass, AC Fail, UPS
Battery Low, and UPS Output Overload. The PC Beep feature is available only for Microsoft Windows
platforms.
Pop-up warning – Select the events to open a message window on your computer and select the Pop-
up warning check box. Only these events can be configured: UPS Battery Low, Communication Lost,
Communication Established, On Bypass, AC Fail, AC Restore, System to be shut down, System to be
shut down by another Agent, and Warranty Period has expired. The Pop-up Warning feature is
available only for Microsoft Windows platforms.
