Adjusting the White Balance

Available modes: TAPE-CAMERA, DUAL-
CAMERA, CARD-CAMERA
The colour of the image tends to look different
from that of the actual subject, depending on
the type of lighting source. Select a White
Balance mode option to record a picture in
colours as natural as possible.
White Balance mode options
AUTO: Colouring adjusted automatically for the
current lighting condition
OUTDOOR: For recording outdoors on a sunny
day
INDOOR: For recording indoors with halogen
lamps or incandescent lighting
LOCK: Fix the setting to the standard balance
(White Balance Lock)
MANUAL: Deliberately change colouring
Note:
• White balance cannot be adjusted when the
SUPER CAT'S EYE switch is set to ON.

Set the camcorder to TAPE-CAMERA,
DUAL-CAMERA, or CARD-CAMERA
mode.

In Recording Standby mode, set the
Manual Selection switch to MANUAL to
display the MANUAL screen.

Touch [WHITE BAL.] to display the
WHITE BAL. selection screen.

Note: To cancel selecting a White Balance
mode, touch [RETURN] on the WHITE BAL.
