White horizontal lines appear in the printed image.
Cause
The Media Type setting in
your printer driver is
incorrect.
The Super MicroWeave
option in your printer driver
is not selected.
One of the ink cartridges is
low on ink.
The print head nozzles are
clogged.
Vertical printed lines are not aligned.
Cause
The print head is misaligned.
The printing position is
misaligned.
Print quality is not what you expect.
Cause
The paper loaded is not the
paper selected in your
application or the printer
driver.
What to do
Make sure the Media Type setting
matches the type of paper loaded in
the printer.
Turn on Super in your printer driver.
Check the control panel to determine
which ink out light is flashing, and
replace the appropriate ink cartridge.
Clean the print head. See "Cleaning
the Print Head"on page 8-37.
What to do
Align the print head with the Print
Head Alignment utility. See "Aligning
the Print Head"on page 8-41.
Make sure the High Speed option in
your printer driver is not selected.
What to do
Make sure you loaded the correct paper
in the printer and that you selected the
same media type in your application
and/or the printer software.
Make sure you are using paper that
meets the paper requirements for this
printer. See "Paper" on page A-2.
