Parallel interface ECP mode

If your computer and the computer's interface support ECP
mode (see your computer documentation for details), you can
set the printer parallel interface mode to ECP, which increases
communication speed between the printer and computer. If
you encounter any printing problem, turn this setting off. To
make or verify this setting, follow the steps below.
1. Make sure that the printer is turned off.
2. Hold down the Reset and Cleaning buttons and press the
Operate button to turn on the printer. The Operate light
and the paper tray light start flashing.
3. Using the table below, confirm your setting preference and
press the Reset button to toggle the setting, if necessary.
