The "PC" bits are ignored by the drive. The drive assumes that current cumulative parameters are
selected.
The "Parameter List Length" field specifies the length in bytes of the parameter list that is located in the
Data-Out Buffer. If a parameter list length results in the truncation of any log parameter, the device
server terminates this command with CHECK CONDITION status (ILLEGAL REQUEST [=5] / Invalid
field in CDB [=24-00]).
A "Parameter List Length" of zero indicates that no pages shall be transferred. This condition shall not be
considered an error.
Note:
The IDD does not support that the application client should send pages in ascending order by page
code value if the Data-Out Buffer contains multiple pages.
