S/PDIF Out Port / Microphone-In Jack

You can use this port for S/PDIF (Sony/Philips Digital Interface Format)
output, and to record on your notebook computer with an external micro-
phone. The S/PDIF Out Port allows you to connect your DVD-capable PC
to a Dolby AC-3 compatible receiver for "5.1" or 'dts' surround sound.
You must use the Y-cable provided to enable these functions (S/PDIF
connection is to the longer end of the cable).
