Für 850A (schmale Ausführung)
Bei der erstmaligen Einstellung der Nadelposition stellen Sie die beiden Anschläge e, mit denen der Hebel w gesichert
•
wird, wie folgt ein.
1. Lösen Sie die beiden Schrauben r.
2. Stellen Sie die Anschläge e nach oben oder nach unten und ziehen Sie die Schrauben r zum Sichern der
Anschläge e wieder fest.
• Stellen Sie danach die Nadelposition wie in den obenstehenden Schritten 1 bis 3 beschrieben ein.
HINWEIS:
Falls die Nadelposition nicht auf die mittlere Bezugslinie ( ) eingestellt ist, müssen Sie vor dem Nähen durch Drehen
des Handrads sicherstellen, daß die Nadel den Stoffdrückerfuß und die Stichplatte nicht berührt.

Note
• Stop the sewing machine before adjusting the needle
position.
• Raise the needle above the material when adjusting the
needle position. If the needle position is adjusted while
the needle is piercing the material, the needle may
bend.
1. Loosen the thumb nut q.
2. Move the change lever w up or down to move the po-
sition of the thumb nut q in order to adjust the needle
position.
• If the thumb nut q is moved toward the
ward), the needle will move to the left (toward the left
reference line).
• If the thumb nut q is moved toward the
(downward), the needle will move to the right (toward
the right reference line).
3. Tighten the thumb nut q.
For 850A (narrow specifications)
• When adjusting the needle position for the first time,
move the two stoppers e which are securing the
change lever w as described below.
1. Loosen the two screws r.
2. Move the stoppers e up or down, and then tighten
the screws r again to secure the stoppers e.
• After this, adjust the needle position by following steps
1 to 3 above.
Note:
If the needle position is set outside the center refer-
ence line ( mark), turn the machine pulley by hand
to check that the needle does not touch the presser
foot and the needle plate before sewing.
Hinweis
• Zum Einstellen der Nadelposition muß die Nähmaschi-
ne gestoppt werden.
• Heben Sie zum Einstellen der Nadelposition die Nadel
aus dem Nähgut hoch. Wird die Einstellung der
Nadelposition bei abgesenkter Nadel vorgenommen,
kann sich die Nadel verbiegen.
1. Lösen Sie die Rändelmutter q.
2. Stellen Sie den Umschalthebel w nach oben oder unten,
um die Position der Rändelmutter q zum Einstellen der
Nadelposition einzustellen.
• Wird die Rändelmutter q gegen die Markierung
(nach oben) gestellt, bewegt sich die Nadel nach links
(gegen die linke Bezugslinie).
• Wird die Rändelmutter q gegen die Markierung
(nach unten) gestellt, bewegt sich die Nadel nach
rechts (gegen die rechte Bezugslinie).
3. Ziehen Sie die Rändelmutter q fest.
