Setting the Security
Setting Up the Resource Access Control Facility (RACF)
Setting security for the environment configuration commands
To use the YKALCSVC or YKSETENV command, you must restrict user access by using the RACF
program control function. Note that you do not need to restrict user access for the YKDSPENV
command. For details, see the Security Server RACF Security Administrator's Guide. If you use the
YKALCSVC or YKSETENV command without restricting user access, BC Z Manager will not operate
properly.
Setting security for CLI commands
To use CLI commands, you must set up the RACF FACILITY. Users can execute CLI commands once
profiles have been defined for the RACF FACILITY class, and once view permissions for these
profiles have been granted to the users' accounts.
