Connecting to the 3Com BBS

To connect to the 3Com Bulletin Board
System, follow these steps:
1. Start RapidComm. The software settings
for the BBS are:
ANSI terminal emulation
Data Bits: 8
Parity: None
Stop Bits: 1
2. Put RapidComm in Terminal mode by
clicking on the Terminal button (see the
following screen image).

3. Type the following command: ATDS0 and
press ENTER.
NOTE:
ATDS0 automatically dials
1-847-982-5092, the U.S. Robotics BBS.
If you must dial a number (such as
"9")to reach an outside line, instead
type ATDT9,18479825092. If you dial a
different number, substitute that for
"9" in the string above.
