Playback of tape

Load a cassette tape.

÷ Normal (TYPE ), high (TYPE ), or metal (TYPE
selection is set automatically.
÷ Remove tape slack before loading.
÷ Close the door securely.
÷ Do not use a tape which is longer than 100 minutes, for
it easily causes troubles such as tape entanglement or
cutting.

Start playback.

Transport direction indicators
When playback or recording is started automatically by the
one-touch operation function, etc., the tape is transported
in the direction used the last time the tape was stopped.
(To change the tape transport direction, press the TAPE key
(2, 3) during playback then press the stop key (7).)

1 Open the door.
Push the area marked 0 PUSH
OPEN.
2 Insert a tape and close the door.
During playback, the tape
running direction changes
each time the key is pressed.
If you load a tape in the cassette deck in advance while
the power is off. pressing the TAPE key (2, 3) turns
power on automatically and starts the tape playback.
