Changing initial setup [2 Ratings]

When the restriction level of the disc is [Level 8], i.e. without any restriction

Perform steps 1 to 3 of the procedure in "Basic operation for changing the initial
setup".

Select the item to be set.

1 Select an item with the joystick (%, fi).
2 Press the ENTER key.

Enter the password.
The password should be set if you selected level 7 or less.
RC
1 Input the 4-digit password with numeric keys.
2 Press the ENTER key.

Each press of the joystick (%, fi) switches the items as
follows.
1 8 No Limit (Factory setup)
: Plays any software (including adult-, general- and children-
oriented).
2 Levels 7 to 2
: Plays general- and children-oriented DVD software.
÷ Restricts playback of adult-oriented DVD software.
3 Level 1
: Plays children-oriented software.
÷ Restricts playback of adult and general-oriented DVD
software.
4 0 Lock All
: Inhibits playback of any DVD software. Select this item
when you want to restrict playback of adult-oriented DVD
software without viewing restriction level recording.

÷ Write down the 4-digit password and retain the memo carefully.
÷ If you locked the setup, it can no longer be changed except by inputting
the correct password.
