Changing initial setup [6 TV Aspect]

Perform steps 1 to 3 of the procedure in "Basic operation for changing the initial
setup".

Select the aspect ratio of your TV.

1 Select an item with the joystick (%, fi).
2 Press the ENTER key.
To return to the previous menu screen
Press the RETURN key.
To exit initial setup
Select "0 Exit" in the initial setup screen.

Press RETURN to cancel
Each press of the joystick (%, fi) switches the items as
follows.
1 1 4:3
2 2 16:9
Setting details
[1 4:3] (Factory setup)
Select this item when the player is connected to a TV with
standard aspect ratio.
÷ Wide-screen software with pan & scan specification is played in a
panned & scanned screen (with the left and right sides cut off).
÷ Wide-screen software with pan & scan specification is played in a
letterbox screen (with black stripes on the top and bottom).
[2 16:9]
Select this item when the player is connected to a wide-
screen TV. Wide-screen software is played in a full wide-
screen.
÷ Set the picture mode of the wide-screen TV to "FULL".
