SPDIF/RAW Choose this when connecting to an amplifier with built-in Dolby digital or DTS decoder. When a DVD recorded with Dolby digital or DTS is played back, a bitstream signal will be put out. When a disc recorded with linear PCM is played back, a linear PCM signal will be put out.
