Installing the Air Baffle for 2U Node

Insert the air baffle into the system-board assembly until it's seated in
place. See Figure 3-11.
2 Replace the system-board assembly. See "Installing a System-Board
Assembly" on page 125.

Heat Sinks

Removing the Heat Sink

NOTE: Please follow the arrow direction on the processor heat sink label to intall
the heat sink.
1 Remove the system-board assembly. See "Removing a System-Board
Assembly" on page 124.
WARNING: The heat sink may be hot to touch for some time after the system has
been powered down. Allow the heat sink to cool before removing it.
CAUTION: Never remove the heat sink from a processor unless you intend to
remove the processor. The heat sink is necessary to maintain proper thermal
conditions.
