Infinity WF Operator Manual
If being able to scan from more than one location is required and/or the scanned images are to
be saved or sent to a location other than a host PC, the scanner needs to be configured for the
WAN. This can be accomplished using a host PC with the supplied crossover cable, a valid
network IP address, and the Infinity WF's Web-based Interface. To do this, see
Configuration Button
under 7.1.2.2 Base Settings in this manual.
Scanning with the Infinity WF can be accomplished using three different methods:
•
Touch Screen;
•
Host PC using the supplied crossover cable; and
•
PC connected to the WAN with or without an Internet connection.
Touch Screen
Scanning can be accomplished on the Infinity WF directly from the scanner using the Touch
Screen. It has an easy-to-use menu and helps the operator to control all scanner parameters
with the touch of a finger. If the need arises to view a scanned image while operating the
scanner from the Touch Screen, an external monitor can be attached to the scanner (see
Viewer Control
for more information).
For detailed instructions on to use the various functions and controls available from the Touch
Screen, begin with section
