Cable Set

All items that make up the Cable Set are appropriately marked. The Cable Set consists of:
Network cable (used to connect the scanner to the network)
Crossover cable (used to connect the scanner directly to a computer)
Power cable (used to connect the scanner to a wall outlet)
Recovery key (used to restore the scanner to factory defaults in case of an unrecoverable
software error. Instructions are included and can also be found in this manual)

White Balance Calibration Sheet

The White Balance Calibration Sheets are used to adjust the even distribution of light into the
camera. It is very important to perform the White Balance procedure before the first time use of
the scanner. Refer to

Transport Wings

Transport Wings assist the scanner in positioning the document so that an optimum image is
captured. This is especially true when scanning thin and/or delicate documents.
The Infinity WF 36 is delivered with one set of 2 transport wings. The Infinity WF 42 and WF 48
scanners are each delivered with one set of 5 transport wings. For more information about the
