Fonts have either fixed or proportional
spacing
spacing. Fixed spacing provides each character the same
amount of space. Proportional spacing provides each
character a space relative to its size and shape, which
improves the appearance or legibility of the text.

A tape that seals the toner into the toner
cartridge. It must be removed before the Silentwriter
Model 1760/1765 can print. You remove the tape by
loosening and pulling on a tab attached to it.
The transfer roller is the black rubber

cartridge. It should be replaced at the same time you
replace the fuser cartridge, i.e., when the
alarm message appears on the operator panel
