The Samba file and print sharing service for Windows enables you to configure your network with
the security of Linux and still be able to access files on your Windows servers.

10.1 Installing Samba Basic
1 Click Install from Available Components.
2 Click Basic, then click Next.
3 Specify the LDAP configurations for your system.
Workgroup: Specify the name of the workgroup that your server belongs to.
LDAP Suffix: Specify the base LDAP suffix. This is where the samba Domain object is
stored.
Domain Controller: Specify if Samba should act as the Primary Domain Controller
(PDC).
4 Review the settings. To make a change, click Back. To proceed with the installation, click Next.
