Using the Notes Gateway Web Console

The Notes Gateway Web console enables you to monitor and control the Notes Gateway from any
location where you have access to a Web browser and the Internet. This provides substantially
more flexible access than the Notes Gateway server console, which can be accessed only from the
Windows server where the Notes Gateway is running.

Setting Up the Notes Gateway Web Console

During installation, the Installation program offered you the opportunity to set up the Notes
Gateway Web console.
The information that you provided during installation was recorded in the Notes Gateway startup
file (notes.cfg). If you want to change the information provided during installation, you must edit
the startup file. As an alternative, you can remove the Web console information from the startup
file and configure the Web console in ConsoleOne as described below.
If you did not enable the Web console during installation, you can do it now in ConsoleOne.

In ConsoleOne, browse to and right-click the Notes Gateway object, then click Properties.

Click GroupWise > Network Address to display the Network Address page.
