Stopping the Notes Gateway

Occasionally, it might be necessary to stop the gateway to perform maintenance on the Windows
server or for some other purpose. When you stop the gateway, any messages being sent from
GroupWise users are queued in one of the domain\wpgate\notes\wpcsout\ngaxxxx\0-7 directories.
Messages sent from Notes users are moved to gateway's mail file configured in the Notes/Domino
Administrator, as described in

again.

If you need to remove the Notes Gateway from the server where you installed it, follow the

At the Notes Gateway server console, click File > Exit.

Press F7.

Click Yes to stop the gateway.

At the Notes Gateway server console, click Start > Settings > Control Panel.

Double-click Services.

Select the Notes Gateway service, then click Stop.
Remember that the Notes Gateway Service is named after the domain and gateway.

GroupWise Notes Gateway > Notes > Uninstall.
