Color Calibration Methods

The Spire CXP8000 color server provides you with two color calibration
methods:
Target Calibration
This calibration method enables you to calibrate the Xerox DocuColor
8000 Digital Color Press according to the following fixed, predefined
density values:
Table 13: Fixed density values for uncoated paper
Table 14: Fixed density values for coated paper
The target calibration method ensures that the density values of the
printed output do not exceed the predefined density values. The
purpose of this color calibration method is to ensure consistency over
time.
Auto Adjusted Calibration
This calibration method enables you to calibrate the Xerox DocuColor
8000 Digital Color Press according to the printer's performance
capabilities.
With this method, you can set the maximum density of the printed
output by selecting the desired percentage level. The higher the
