Calibration
Connecting the X-Rite 32HS Densitometer to the Spire
CXP8000 Color Server
Before calibrating the DTP32HS densitometer, make sure that you
perform the following steps:
•
Interface the X-Rite DTP 32HSdensitometer directly with one of the
computer's serial ports
•
Quit all programs and shut down the computer before you install
interface cabling
•
Plug the small end of the switching power supply into the power input
connector of the interface cable.
•
Plug the detachable line cord into the power supply and then into the
AC wall receptacle. The instrument does not have an ON/OFF switch.
The LED indicates a variety of instrument operation conditions, such as
calibration mode and operation.
